TT Gearmotor Drive Kit

A compact 48:1 TT gearmotor drive assembly with a 68 mm wheel and pre-installed bidirectional brushed motor driver.

The integrated driver uses a standard three-wire servo-style connector and accepts servo-style pulse commands for proportional forward speed, reverse speed, and stop. It connects directly to compatible LoR Core V3 output ports without requiring a separate H-bridge, external motor-driver board, or custom power wiring.

This is the primary drivetrain motor used in MiniBot robots and is also well suited to mobile robotics, embedded motion-control projects, and rapid mechatronics prototyping.

Key Features

  • 48:1 brushed DC TT gearmotor
  • Pre-installed bidirectional brushed motor driver
  • Three-wire servo-style connection
  • Proportional forward, reverse, and stop control
  • Direct LoR Core V3 compatibility
  • 68 mm wheel with rubber traction tire
  • No external H-bridge required

Package Contents

  • 1 × 48:1 TT gearmotor
  • 1 × 68 mm wheel
  • 1 × Pre-installed LoR brushed motor driver
  • Integrated wiring with three-wire servo-style connector

One kit drives one wheel. A typical two-wheel drivetrain requires two kits.

Motor Specifications

  • Motor type: Brushed DC TT gearmotor
  • Gear ratio: 48:1
  • Operating voltage: 3–6 VDC
  • No-load current: Approximately 150 mA
  • Stall current: Approximately 1.0–1.5 A
  • Dimensions: Approximately 70 × 19 × 23 mm
  • Motor mass: Approximately 25 g
  • Output shaft: Double-flat TT-style shaft

Wheel Specifications

  • Diameter: Approximately 68 mm
  • Width: Approximately 28 mm
  • Mass: Approximately 28 g
  • Connection: Press-fit TT-style hub
  • Tire: Rubber traction tire

Compatibility

Designed for use with:

  • LoR Core V3
  • MiniBot Kit V3
  • Custom ESP32-based robot controllers
  • Embedded controllers capable of generating servo-style pulse commands

Motor direction can be reversed in software, allowing the same assembly to be used on either side of a drivetrain.

Important Notes

Actual speed, torque, and current draw depend on supply voltage, robot mass, drivetrain friction, wheel loading, and operating surface. Avoid continuous stall operation.

Mounting brackets, chassis hardware, and LoR Core V3 are not included unless otherwise specified.
